I didn't come to this work through a business degree or a marketing background. I came to it the same way you did - as an accommodation owner.
We bought a run-down B&B by the sea thinking it would be simple. It wasn't. We poured blood, sweat and tears into turning it into somewhere genuinely special - only to find that building the place was the easy part. Then the 2008 recession hit. Bookings stopped. For a while, I thought we'd lose everything.

And I realised: what I'd learned the hard way didn't need to be learned the hard way. It could be taught. It could be shared. It could save other people the years of struggle I'd been through.
That was 16 years ago. Since then, I've worked with accommodation owners across the UK and internationally - helping them do what I did, without needing a crisis to force the change.
