Thrive is a six-month mentorship for owners of independent hotels. A small, focused programme - close work, not a course you watch from a distance.
It's built around The Thrive Method™ - the proven framework I’ve developed and refined over 16 years of coaching hospitality business owners.
But the framework is the structure. The coaching is where the work actually happens.
I'm a mentor, not a consultant. I sit alongside you while you build your hotel - naming what's stuck, asking the right questions, showing you what works in businesses like yours, helping you make the calls that matter. You've been running this on your own for a long time. Thrive is where you stop doing that.
I've spent over 20 years in hospitality - five of them as the owner of an award-winning hospitality business, including building and turning it around through the 2008 recession. The 16 years since have been spent mentoring owners through markets at every state of the cycle. Recessions, recoveries, pandemics, surges, slumps. The work is the same in each. You start with a kick-off session that welcomes you into Thrive properly - the community, the Hub, the rhythm of the work. We map your priorities for the six months so you begin with momentum and clarity, not overwhelm.
Two live group coaching calls each week
Twice a week, three weeks of every four, we meet as a group on Zoom. You bring your real questions - pricing decisions, a piece of copy you're stuck on, a difficult guest situation, a strategic call you need to make. You get personal feedback, real-time problem-solving, and the kind of detailed thinking it's hard to do alone. You're never left guessing what to do next.
The Thrive Method™
You'll work through the Method at the pace that fits your hotel and your life with full access to the training, tools, and resources. Clear, practical, designed for implementation - not for a head full of
theory.
1:1 access - for the moments that need it
If a question is personal, financial, or genuinely sensitive - something that genuinely needs private space rather than the community or a group call - you can request a 1:1 call with me. Most of the people I work with never need it. The fact that it’s there matters more than how often it’s used.
Implementation Week - the fourth week of every month
One week of every month is protected. No calls. No new content. No cognitive load. Just time to embed what you've learned and do the work that actually moves the business forward. Real change happens in the doing, not the learning. Implementation Week is how Thrive respects that.

You'll be part of a close-knit community of owners doing this work alongside you. They understand what running an independent hospitality business really takes - because they're doing it too. How to join
Thrive is intentionally small and high-touch. It works best when it's the right fit. That's why we always start with a conversation.
Step 1: Book your Gameplan Call. You'll book a 45-minute call directly into my diary and complete a short questionnaire about your hotel - around 10 minutes to reflect and respond thoughtfully. I read every response personally before our call, so we come into the conversation already focused on what matters most.
Step 2: We'll map it out together. On the call, we'll look at your hotel specifically - your situation, your numbers, the shift that's most in the way. By the end, we both know whether Thrive is the right next step. If it is, you'll leave with a clear path in. If it's not, you'll leave with a clear sense of what would serve you better at this stage.
No pressure either way. The Gameplan Call is the conversation that decides - and I'd rather have the right conversation than the wrong enrolment.

What kind of hotel is Thrive suitable for?

You're hands-on in the day-to-day. The business will be your livelihood, not a side project. If that's you, Thrive is likely to be a strong fit.
How is Thrive different from other coaching programmes?
Three things.
First, it's specific - built for independent hoteliers, not for generic small businesses or short-term rentals. I've spent over 20 years in hospitality, including five running an award-winning hospitality business through the 2008 recession, and 16 years mentoring established hospitality owners ever since.
Second, it's small - I work with a maximum of 25 clients across Thrive and Amplify, my continuation programme, so you get real access to me, not a seat in a 500-person group.
And third, it's framework-plus-coaching - you get The Thrive Method™ alongside the live group coaching that helps you implement it in your specific hotel. A mentor, not a consultant. Across the kitchen table, not behind a podium.
How much time will I need to commit each week?
Most Thrive clients spend around 6 to 8 hours per week - a mix of learning, live coaching calls and doing the work. Some weeks will feel lighter, some a little fuller, depending on where your hotel is and what you're working on. You set the pace, and you're not expected to do everything at once.
Will my partner or team need to be involved?
Thrive is for the person who runs the business side of things - and that's usually one specific person, even in partnerships. You can absolutely do this without your partner or team sitting in on calls.
That said, some of the work Thrive guides affects more than just you. The owners who get the most out of Thrive have partners and teams who are broadly aligned with where you're trying to take the business, even if they're not in the room for the work itself.
Some couples enrol together and work through it side by side. Others have one of them in the programme while the other stays in a supporting role. Both can work - and on the Gameplan Call we can figure out which makes sense for your setup.
What doesn't work as well is enrolling without the people around you knowing that real change is on the horizon. The work matters too much for that.
I'm already busy. Will this just give me more to do?
No. Thrive is designed to lighten the load, not add to it. We focus on what actually moves the business forward - not the busywork that's been quietly draining your time and energy. Most clients find themselves with more time, not less, as the hotel becomes easier to run.
What if I can't make all the live calls?
You don't need to attend every call live to get full value from Thrive. All coaching calls are recorded. You'll receive the replay along with the transcripts and summary notes - so you can catch up in a way that fits around your hotel and your life. If you can't attend live, you can pre-submit your questions and I'll address them on the call, you don't have to be there to be heard. And the community is around you the rest of the time.
How quickly will I see results?
Most Thrive clients begin to see clear, measurable progress within the first three months - whether that's more direct bookings, longer stays, more confident pricing, or a sharper view of what's actually driving the business. Your timeline will depend on where you're starting from and how quickly you implement, but the Method is built to create momentum in the right order. You won't be guessing or jumping ahead. Progress comes from clarity and sequence, not speed.

Will Thrive work for a B&B or self-catering business?
Yes - if it's hospitality-led.
Thrive is primarily designed for owners of independent hotels, but the Method I teach works across owner-run hospitality. I've had clients who run B&Bs operating to hotel standards, hospitality-led self-catering businesses, and a range of other owner-run, hospitality-hearted models. They've all benefited from the same work - because the principles travel.
What matters isn't the business classification. It's how the business operates: hands-on, owner-led, where the guest experience genuinely matters and the business is your livelihood.
Thrive isn't built for short-term rentals, platforms-only operators, or anyone treating the business as passive income. The model is different, the work is different, and there are better resources out there for those routes.
We'll always confirm fit on the Gameplan Call.
When can I join?
Thrive runs year-round, with room for one or two new clients each month. If Thrive feels like the right next step, the first move is booking a Gameplan Call - we'll talk through timing on the call, including when your six months would begin.
What about payment plans and refunds?
Thrive offers two payment options:
Pay in full: £4,000 + VAT
Or in instalments: £1,500 + VAT upfront plus 5 monthly payments of £575 + VAT (total £4,375 + VAT).
Both give you the same programme, the same access to me, and the same six months of work.
As for refunds - Thrive is a considered commitment, and the Gameplan Call exists specifically so we both know it's the right fit before you enrol. Because of that, I don't offer refunds after enrolment. If Thrive isn’t the right fit for you, we'll say so on the call, and you won't enrol in the first place.
What happens after six months?
At the end of your six months in Thrive, you'll have a choice. By then, you'll have built strong foundations and a clearer, more profitable way of running your hotel.
Some Thrive graduates continue with ongoing support through Amplify - my continuation programme, where we keep refining and building on what's working.
Others feel ready to move forward independently. There's no obligation either way. The goal is that you leave Thrive with a hotel that works - whether you carry on with support or move forward on your own.
